Ex-IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt was arrested in 22 year old drug 'PLANTING'
Ex-IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt arrested
Ahemdabad: Ex IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt was arrested on Wednesday by the Gujarat CID on connection with a 22 year old case of alleged planting of drugs. Bhatt along with 7 others including some former policemen were intially detained for questioning in this case. Bhatt was the Banaskantha district superintendent of police in the year 1996 and got disimissed from service in the year 2015.
After being questioned Bhatt was immediately arrested by the Crime Investigation department while his other team members were still kept in dentention, generat director of police, CID Mr. Ashish Bhatia said.
